- June 3 thru 27 — Laura Whited stars as "Judy Garland, Old Port Playhouse - The intimate 70 seat theater will “get happy” June 3rd when Laura Hurd Whited stars as “Judy Garland” in The Property Known As Garland.With her wicked wit, Judy dishes the dirt on her M-G-M co-stars, her husbands, and more…taking us down the yellow brick road of her incredible life in words and music. June 18 — 5th Annual Portland, Maine Dyke March
6:30-7:30pm - Monument Square Pre Show and Rally (rain location - First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church on Congress Street) Featuring musical duo, HLA and belly dancers, Jaiyana Highlighting dykes and women's sports opportunities, and dyke community building organizations Bring your gently used bras to donate to Athena’s Cup, supporting breast cancer research
7:30pm (estimated time) March Kickoff! We’re looking for dykes on bikes (scooters, bicycles, strollers, roller skates or blades!), drummers and others to make music and sound to accompany the marchers. Bring your group banner, wear your team or professional uniform, or carry dyke-positive signs. Want to help out the Dyke March and volunteer? We need crossing guards to post at intersections along the march route – this is a great way for our allies to help!

June 18 & 19 — The Kings of the Hill present: RAINBOW FRIED CIRCUS — The Kings of the Hill, a local drag king theater troupe, present "Rainbow Fried Circus" on the main stage of Portland Stage. "Rainbow Fried Circus" is high energy, queer, rock-your-socks-off comedic romp scheduled for 2 performances only- June 18 and June 19- and one of the many incredible events happening in Portland during Pride weekend. Comedienne Leslie Downes will again join forces with the Kings as the show’s MC. Portland Stage is located in downtown Portland at 25 Forest Ave. Shows start at 8:30pm, doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and available at all Bullmoose locations and online at brownpapertickets.com. Day of show tickets are $20. - June 18 — LIFE Ogunquit — From 9:30pm-1am at MaineStreet, Ogunquit, Maine. LIFE kicks-off with a DJ who exemplifies WORK – RICHIE LADUE has been working up the Boston set for more than two decades and he’s considered one of the best in the business. Don’t miss him, the drink specials, or other special entertainment at MaineStreet. Suggested $10 donation to help fight HIV/AIDS at the door. Website
- June 19 — Southern Maine Pride Parade — Begins 12:30pm at Monument Square in Portland. Parade route goes from Congress & High Streets to end in Deering Oaks Park.
- June 19 — Southern Maine Pride Festival — From 1-5pm at Deering Oaks Park in Portland.
- June 19 — LIFE Portland — From 8pm-1am at Port City Music Hall in Portland. International DJ sensation SCOTTY THOMSON arrives in Portland for LIFE. Brand new this year, LIFE Portland will pick up where the Pier left off, christening Port City Music Hall as the new Pride mecca. Join us for dancing, performances, drink specials, drag queens and much more fun as we celebrate our diversity and WORK towards equality and an end to AIDS. $15 in advance, $20 at the door — all proceeds benefit the Maine AIDS Alliance.
- June 19 — Reception to Celebrate Southern Maine Pride — From 6-9pm at the Harbour’s Edge Room at 6 Custom House Wharf in Portland. The Maine Dems Have Pride Host Committee cordially invites you to join them at a reception to celebrate Southern Maine Pride 2010. Our first step towards continuing the fight for equality in Maine begins with electing a pro-equality governor and legislature this year.
